While other bars and clubs have come and gone, Jazz-ya has maintained with a loyal clientele who appreciate the laid-back, non-trendy atmosphere. Jazz (and occasionally pop) plays softly in the background while patrons enjoy the convivial Japanese pub-style atmosphere and, if they need something simple and potent, Jazz-ya’s mind-numbing Long Island iced teas. If you’re hungry, try the attached sushi bar. The fish is flown in fresh from Japan twice a week, and is excellent and very reasonably priced.
