Lunar New Year is the most important holiday in China, and Longhua Temple is the place to observe its traditions. The 1,800-year-old temple, where a 3,000 kilo bell rings in good fortune for the coming year, also hosts lion dances, fireworks and folk musicians. Devout locals line up to pray at the Temple’s Buddhist shrine for good fortune in the coming year on New Year’s day — feel free to join them.
