Open day and night all year round, this restaurant with its pretty flower-filled patio is without doubt one of the district's best-known eating places. Once popular with Les Halles market stallholders, little has changed since then and the restaurant has managed to hold onto that old-fashioned atmosphere of Paris long ago. Sample the onion soup, tripe or Pig's Trotters from its authentic menu or try the excellent selection of oysters.
