Carter Godwin Woodson Memorial Park.

Commemorating the Father of Black History
This new National Park, located just nine blocks away from our hotel, tells a great story about an educator and philanthropist of African-American history. His residence is just around the corner from the park. The park is also used for yoga classes during summer and it's a venue for public gatherings too.
