Iron Horse Trail

Old railway that was turned into a walking path and is a few steps from our hotel door.
This 32-mile walking path follows the old route of the Southern Pacific Railroad, going from Concord to Pleasanton. It is paved and has bikers, walkers, and just people wanting to get some fresh air. There is a map at the hotel front desk that shows the whole path where you can walk to downtown Walnut Creek and if you wanted to go for a long hike at Mount Diablo.
