Barbara is not a native Iowan, but has lived in Des Moines for more than 8 years. She often hops in her car and drives around the city, looking for new and interesting places. She also talks to other residents for suggestions of where to go and what to do. Barbara prefers locally-owned establishments that capture the spirit of the city and its inhabitants.
