Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel

Our French Quarter hotel combines expected Renaissance luxury with old-world charm and hospitality. Originally built in 1925, the building is tinged with the atmosphere of the jazz age, complete with local photography celebrating the unique sights of New Orleans, past and present. And what would New Orleans be without food and drink? Our French restaurant MiLa serves Southern fare and truly out-of-this-world cocktails. And with world-famous Bourbon Street just a few minutes’ walk, ask our friendly Navigator Yvette about the best spots in which to dance the night away or take in some of the legendary jazz venues.

Arnaud's Restaurant

Take in some live jazz, feast on crawfish or sip custom cocktails in the versatile and always delicious Creole haunt, Arnaud's Restaurant.
A dream that began with Arnaud Cazenave in 1918 lives on today. In 1978, Arnaud's Restaurant was acquired by Archie and Jane Casbarian and restored to its original splendor. The refurbished mosaic tile floor, as well as interior columns and antique ceiling fans, recapture the aura or early 20th century New Orleans. This grande dame of Creole cuisine is a sparkling jewel in the crown of New Orleans' fine restaurants. The menu features classic dishes as well as more nouvelle creations. Always excellent is the Shrimp Arnaud in remoulade sauce, the Oyster Stew and the Beef Wellington. Of course, the favorite for dessert is the fine Creme Brulee.

Drago's

Oysters shucked to order come flooding from the kitchen at Drago's, the best place for charbroiled oysters in the New Orleans area.
Since first opening their doors in 1965, Drago's restaurant has continuously been the premier name for oysters in New Orleans. The secret to their success is owner Drago Cvitanovich's famous Charbroiled Oysters, which are cut in half, thrown on the grill, and served with parmesan cheese and, of course, lots of lemon. If oysters aren't your thing, they also offer genuine Maine Lobster for a very reasonable price, and a wide variety of seafood based dishes that will make you forget about your favorite steak houses and barbecue joints. Stop into Drago's in either New Orleans, or the original restaurant in Metairie for some of New Orleans' best seafood, and that's saying a lot!
