Though encountering crocodiles, lizards, turtles and snakes may seem scary to some people, a visit to Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center puts all apprehensions to rest. It opens doors to a spectacular world of reptiles where visitors are amazed by the sheer variety of species exhibiting diverse coloring, textures, scales and shells. These include the Nile Crocodile, Burmese Python, Cuban Boa, Red Tegu and Florida Box Turtle. A host of amphibians are also rescued by this non-profit organization. School groups can avail of special educative programs such as Rainforest Reptiles, Wetland Wonders and Native Florida. Do not miss the Alligator Wrestling Show replete with diverse stunts and educational tit-bits.
