Every year in December, the San Francisco Ballet puts on a brilliant rendition of the Nutcracker, and it’s an important part of the holiday season here. But first, stop by Union Square during the day to see the huge tree, skate in the ice rink and see the fantastic window displays of places like Gump’s and Macy’s.
