<p>This music simply swings. Deeply rooted in the musical influence of the Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt 1910-1953. This ensemble isn't bound simply to this style. The live experience of Gypsy Jazz has all the power, fire, freedom and virtuosity of Be-Bop to Bossa Nova. Impromptu works primarily as a traditional Gypsy Jazz quartet (i.e. two guitars, violin and bass) but feels just as comfortable in a duo or trio setting.</p>
