<p>As a young girl Miek Miek longed for musical freedom to improvise and, maybe more important to perform.</p> <p>A little later in life than most she discovered the saxophone (tenor, alto and baritone) and a new horizon opened up for this ‘saxy’ lady. It combined her vocal ambitions, provided lots of room for improvisation and added something special to her charming appearance.</p>
