<p>Born on Long Island NY, Bernie began playing Saxophone at the age of 10 and by the age of 14 was already earning both money and respect for his talents. His band, BMQ (Bernie Maloney Quartet), was well known in the area and regularly played various venues, charity events and restaurants until 2006. During the past 22 years Bernie has played with many talented and well known musicians such as The Rat Pack, "Live At The Sands" show, The Joey Renda Big Band (a Buddy Rich tribute band), The Ron Delp Trio, as well as partnering with Lee Farrell to lead The Cigar City Big Band for 4 years.</p>
