John started Piano Lessons at the age of 6. Violin followed at the age of 9, which led him to play with the Mobile Junior Symphony in High School. When he saw "Elvis", then the "Beatles" on TV, he thought, "That's what I want to do when I grow up". John played guitar in his first "band" when he was 14. Then he saw "Jerry Lee Lewis" and decided to switch to piano.</p>
