<p>Of course , tonight we are all Irish but as early of the 1790’s Irish immigrants began to shape the city of Washington. Many were laborers the worked the docks in the georgetown neighborhood and helped to build the C&O canal establishing the busy M-street area we know today. While others set up shops and offered craftsmen services in the Captial Hill area.</p>
