<p>Julien Claustre's pictorial work is a constant search, a permanent questioning to try to understand the organization of the universe. To be himself, he wants to know his environment. His successive travels, his encounters, made him aware of the world. This desire for communication, his experiences, his achievements, he found them in painting. On this white surface he creates his vocabulary, writes his history through his bright and vivid colours.</p>
