He began his professional journey in Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in translation and interpretation. José developed a taste for working in the tourism industry in Cancun, a city that was booming with tourism at the time. It was in this city that he was able to experience various aspects of the tourism industry and discover the concierge profession for the first time. Today, José is a consummate professional. He is a member of Les Clefs d'Or®, the prestigious association that brings together the crème de la crème of concierges from all over the world. His passion for theatre, art, dance, and cinema, especially the films of Almodovar, allows him to make unique discoveries in the city and share la joie de vivre of Montreal, where he navigates the city to always find hidden gems. One of his favorite neighborhoods in the city is Plateau/Mile-End, an eclectic neighborhood that is just like the Renaissance Montreal Centre-Ville, where art, gastronomy, and multiculturalism often converge to give a unique flavor to his beloved island, Montreal!
