Originally from St Lucia, Mathias Thomas is passionate about exploring the city that he now calls home. But from street markets, restaurants, bars and independent local food stalls to the nearby British Museum and the British Library, there’s always plenty to do, see and discover in the local area too. “It’s an incredibly vibrant neighbourhood which constantly has new bars and restaurants opening – which makes it a great place for a Navigator,” says Mathias, “I love walking in the area, looking for new and interesting things to experience and share with my guests”Some of his current favourites include the Indian street food at a local cafe, shopping for clothes in the world famous Camden Market, checking out the latest exhibitions at the British Library or unwinding after a long day in a bar with views over the Regent’s Canal. And if you’re a coffee lover he can tell you where to sample exotic blends from round the world. When not exploring the streets for the latest openings, happenings and local gossip, Mathias is likely to be found working out or going for a run in one of London’s nearby Royal Parks.
