Recycling Program:
The hotel recycles materials such as glass, metal, paper, plastics, and aluminum coffee capsules. These capsules are 100% recycled, and the coffee grounds are repurposed as compost. Last year, the total of recycled materials were 67,600 kg.
Biodigester:
The property features a biodigester capable of processing 300 kg of organic material daily, generating nutrient-rich effluent that can be safely discharged or reused. Approximately 75 tons of organic waste were processed in 2024.
Plastic Reduction:
100% of plastic water bottles have been replaced by cans, disposable soap, shampoo, and conditioner packaging have been replaced with fixed dispensers, reducing single plastic usage.
Energy:
The hotel sources 100% of its energy from renewable sources, certified by I-REC, ensuring a zero-carbon footprint. Currently, 99% of the property uses LED lighting, and the central air conditioning system is optimized through telemetry and automation, adjusting energy consumption to ideal operational standards.
Sustainable Sourcing:
98% of the fruits and vegetables used are sourced from local suppliers. At Terraço Jardins restaurant, 25% of the vegetables are organic, and all seafood is responsibly sourced. Additionally, 100% of the eggs used come from cage-free producers and the pork is also sourced from free-range farming a sustainable and healthy way to provide a more natural and beneficial environment for the animals.
Donations:
In 2024, the hotel donated 2.7 tons kg of food to the “Comida Invisível” platform, which connects companies with NGOs and people in vulnerable situations, serving 13,318 meals and benefiting 4,345 people.
Electric Vehicle Charger:
The hotel provides guests and customers with complimentary electric vehicle charging stations, promoting sustainable mobility.
Printed Materials:
All paper materials used by the hotel are FSC-certified, ensuring sustainably sourced wood.
Training and Awareness:
In 2024, the hotel reached 100% associate training completion in topics such as Human Trafficking and Harassment. Additionally, the hotel is a signatory of the Business Coalition for Ending Violence Against Women and Girls, promoting the Ângela program, which provides support to women in situations of violence.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Women represent 52.87% of leadership positions, 58.89% of managerial roles, and 50% of executive positions. Since 2020, the Diversity and Inclusion Committee has worked across six areas, promoting actions focused on 50+, Gender Equity, Ethnic-Racial, LGBTQIA+, PwD, and Early Childhood.
Training and Volunteering:
In 2024, the Renaissance ambassadors dedicated 20,720 hours to 66 volunteer actions. These actions resulted in the donation of food, diapers, personal hygiene products, school supplies, clothes, toys, furniture, and blood, totaling R$ 285,258.73 in donations.
Rena Week do Bem:
This social initiative, held during Black Friday, allocates 10% of sales to charitable institutions. To date, over R$ 45,000 has been donated to organizations such as Fundação Amazonas Sustentável and Instituto Fazendo História.
