Great Mecidiye Ortaköy Mosque

This building is one of the beautiful examples of Baroque architecture.
This building is one of several 19th century mosques that tower over the Ortaköy landing stage in Beşiktaş, as well as the European shore of the Bosporus. Abdülmecit procured the construction of the mosques by Nigoğos Balyan in 1853. Known as the Great Mecidiye Mosque, it is one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque architecture in Istanbul.

Nostalgic Tramway

This red and white colored establishment has become a symbol of İstiklal Avenue and Beyoğlu.

Dolmabahce Palace

Dolmabahçe Palace is a three story building with a symmetrical plan.
You will be amazed by the size of this palace! There are 285 rooms and 43 lounges. There is a 600 meter dock that leads to the sea, and two massive ceremonial doors facing inland, one of which is very ornate. During the Republican era, Atatürk used the palace as his residence during his visits to the city of İstanbul, and he was here when he died in1938.
