Set on a Corner of Historic Fabric Row, Southwark is a Queen Village institution
This is hands down one of my favorite places to go in the city. Just seven blocks south of the hotel, Southwark offers class without condescension. The bartenders are top notch and always welcoming, I suggest ordering the Dealer’s Choice and let them make you something truly unique. Their menu is always changing with what is in season and their commitment to quality shows with every plate served

The restaurant serves some of the best pizzas and delicious Gelato
Caporetto is a local favorite pizza place, situated just a few blocks from the hotel. The place is known for their Diavola pie created with fresh arugula that goes perfectly with a glass of the Nicodemi. Don’t forget to try their gelato, it is amongst the best in the city and made fresh daily.

Hale & True

Local cidery and taproom that began in the owner's former apartment just a few blocks from the hotel.
The bar is made of reclaimed wood from an old mushroom barn that the owner’s brother and father salvaged and restored. The Cider is made from local Pennsylvania apple juice, the honey used is local honey. Every aspect of Hale and True is touched by hand and the results speak for themselves, their cider is incredible. Hail to the Hop is a personal favorite!
